“Hello,” said a quiet, musical voice. I looked up, stunned that he was speaking to me. He was sitting as far away from me as the desk allowed, but his chair was angled toward me. His hair was dripping wet, disheveled—even so, he looked like he’d just finished shooting a commercial for hair gel. His dazzling face was friendly, open, a slight smile on his flawless lips. But his eyes were careful. “My name is Edward Cullen,” he continued. “I didn’t have a chance to introduce myself last week. You must be Bella Swan.”
I wish ‘David Karp’ still owned this little blog site. 8-10 years ago, this place was so much fun. No ads, no p*rn, no BS! I learned so much from here…blogging, theme coding, fonts, html, CSS etc. Back then, the blog themes, fonts, music player, infinite scrolling & the arrow that take you all the way up, online user counters, Cbox mattered so much. It was crazy fun! Bloggers even paid to get a cool theme for their Tumblr blog. We wasted so much time on these things, figuring it all out.
Now, it’s all in the past. Seeing blogs and URLs that, I reblogged from/visited daily are no longer active from last 4-6 years makes me super sad. I don’t know what happened to them or what they are doing. The new technology especially “app” made Tumblr super accessible but BS! :@
Over the last years, I had so many different URLs and blogs *sigh* and how happy all this made me. Now, even my URL is a sad one. Oh, the irony!
On 19th April 2023, it will be 13 years since I first created an account/blog on Tumblr.
